BEACONS OF LIGHT

(Some aphorisms of AMMA translated into English by Sri V. M. Prasada Rao)

1. Mother means the beginning.
2. Mother means completeness, not manifestation.
3. The real mother sees her child in every one.
4. Mother serves the child even when it quarrels, with her, while the child quarrels even when it is being served.
5. Protection, wherever exists represents mother-hood.
6. Mother may distribute differently but giving is same to all.
7. Mother gives what is needed, not what is desired.
8. Today’s word can become tomorrow’s way.
9. What is learnt is wisdom and what is experienced is knowledge.
10. That which needs no explanantion, is exposition.
11. Fulfillment of one’s wishes is happiness.
12. Man’s destiny depends not on zodiac but on attachment and hate, which are rooted in ‘I’.
