Our scriptures depict the divine incarnations making their advent on to this earth, in human form just like any of us in flesh and blood. Even so, despite the apparent visible form, the divine personae are altogether and far too different from us the lesser mortals. Mere reason being all of them are well beyond the limitations of the form and the mere physical conditioning. Their deeds are uncommon, extraordinary much beyond the human mite.

Furthermore, their forms are conditioned and imbued with the infinite consciousness, the life force, which empowers them extraordinarily and unconditionally in completing their mission and ministry on this earth. The physical form is mere seen and meant for cognition while their aura and form continue in the mystic domains even ever after their exit.

in terms of our sacred lore, ten divine incarnations are portrayed, of which nine have already made their advent and the tenth ‘Kalki” is yet to make its appearance, though the opinion is varied on the tenth Among the nine divine entities that have appeared some are deemed partial while a few others regarded as complete

Partial incarnations emanate only to fulfil a particular need, specific purpose and cease to be on completion of the same. For instance, Vamana Avathara, Narasimha Avathara and such likes. Complete manifestations like Lord Krishna and Rama address the human life, its odds, ills and so on, restoring peaceful harmony and make the much needed corrections in the given order.

Our AMMA JILLELLAMUDI is very much regarded and revered as the complete. manifestation of divinity who made HER advent on the 28th of March 1923 in the Mannava village of the Guntur District, South India. Yet AMMA makes a distinct, singular difference among all the ‘Avatars that appeared till now. Let us verify the premises resting in AMMA’S advent as an Avatar in depth and in specific detail.

The commonality between AMMA and the earlier divine manifestations is the uncommon aura, ability and extraordinary prowess that are natural for HER ever since the advent, the very birth. Uncommon deeds and supra divine acts could be seen, felt and experienced right from the very birth. Ordinarily no child can know and recount the details of the birth, even citing the midwife’s experience. AMMA cited the same for authentic record in HER autobiography, which depicts that AMMA’S awareness is extraordinary. AMMA is self endowed, all fulfilling and all capable. To be succinct, omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent.

In the true sense nothing is gained or acquired after the descent on to this earth by effort. Besides the uncommon capability, traits that are associated with the other Avatars AMMA’S incarnation varies from the rest in respect of aspect, approach, method and containment which shall be verified in detail for a greater appreciation and true feel of AMMA, her presence and the advent as the divine incarnation

AMMA declared that SHE is the mother of all, the entire living species, this entire. existence and the given order, that includes the living and non-living. For in AMMA’S reckoning there is nothing inert and all matter is imbued with lite force though not visible perceptible which science too confirms.

Truly as AMMA proclaimed she is the MOTHER OF ALL, verily the UNIVERSAL MOTHER of the totality of existence. Wide experience sustains, substantiates and confirms this fact beyond any doubt. To the extent that all the devotees are deemed the endearing children of AMMA.

The scope of such motherhood has no bounds. AMMA declared, “I have brought forth all of you, given to others for upbringing “Such motherhood has complete empathy towards the children. For AMMA declared, “You are not merely MY children, the very limbs.” Added specific feature is being the ‘MOTHER’, the erring, going astray are corrected mildly and not eliminated altogether.

AMMA’S motherly empathy is such containing, enduring the wrong doers in tremendous forbearance. AMMA proclaimed, “Being the MOTHER, it is my bounden duty to cleanse the child besmirched with filth, that soils itself”. This is the marked difference of AMΜΑ from the earlier divine manifestations. Besides, this is the need of Kall Yuga where good and evil coexist together widely and affliction abounds all over.

AMMA is so caring towards the children to the point that SHE said, “I feel all your aches and ills”. “I have only conceived and never consumed”. Verily AMMA has always been mindful and quenching the hunger of the children not taking even a square meal for her stomach or feeding HER personal selt. AMMA ever strove to meet the children’s hunger even in scarcity and stringency.

Later institutionalized the same as ANNAPOORNALAYAM dedicating the same addressing human hunger for eternity. This is the mission and singular purport of motherhood which AMMA met always touchingly. Here to elaborate although motherhood is mentioned or attributed to the other divine entities, AMMA is the never seen before personification and embodied motherhood ever active, purposive and fruitful, caring for the devotee children.

AMMA’S approach is broad spectrum covering all the needs of life, though hunger is prominent and well known. To be true, AMMA celebrated life in all its aspects, gracing all the family functions, at times personally participating. SHE quietly filled the void and privation in life transforming them in a process of silent alchemy. That people were changed, enabled, elevated hardly knowing of the process, the change within that has begun. AMMA institutionalized the process of meeting the needs of education, health, hygiene and over all fulfilment and betterment of the needy and deprived.

AMMA’S method in improving life and its fulfilment is gradual and subtle. Never thought of external imposition, suppression or severe restriction. Enough room was given for human frailty and vent for the sensuous urges. AMMA held that suppression does not help, and natural expression is the more desirable mode for long term change and improvement Accordingly, pride of place is given to the holy matrimony. Family is upheld in which all longings are savoured, exhausted giving the same a natural expression and exit.

Spiritual pursuit is beckoned closer home and nearly brought to the doorstep. Pronounced, “Sadhana is that possible”. Evan daily and regular domestic chores shall become sadhana given the right orientation and method. All chores become sadhana if deemed as service to God, If so, your daily life could be sadhana. To illustrate the mother bathing her child may regard the same as ablutions to the child Lord Krishna.

AMMA’S method and precept are very simple to the children. Harped upon being good and sharing with concern towards the less provided. It is not doling out but giving care and expressing concern to those in need. Such goodness exalts the individual. To quote AMMA,

Goodness excels every other mystique”.

Thus, simple good without being complex or abstruse, serves and nothing more. Viewed in the larger macro context such mode promotes value based harmonious participative, sharing life in AMMA’S terms without being too ideal or abstract. Spiritual life, pursuit too is made very simple and down lo earth. During the physical form. AMMA institutionalized this need fultilment. AMMA’S mission and ministry covered all these requirements. Addressed the common living in all its diversity and multiple needs with endearing care, close concem.

On the immortal divine plane, AMMA regarded Gods too as HER loving children. In the very childhood in Mannava, HER birthplace caused the visions of other gods Lord Rama, Krishna, Narasimha, Satyanarayana and so on to the contemporary villagers who had those explicit visions of their chosen deities, choice gods

Such persons when told that they saw AMMA as their personal God, AMMA simply responded that they could have seen their chosen god in the seif of AMMA and AMMA did not appear in the forms of their chosen gods. This stance from AMMA means and makes a lot of difference in the perspective of containment. To be more precise. AMMA contains all other divinities, Gods too by virtue of being the MOTHER.

To elaborate this aspect of containment in finer, true detail. AMMA during HER physical form wore the toe rings etched with divine forms of gods and goddesses. When this was questioned AMMA simply responded, SHE adorned the same to convey that Gods too are HER children and we, the mortal children are but their siblings.

It is very crucial to present that at the time of NANNAGARU’S consecration, Nagendra toe ring(s) is immersed in the sanctum along with NANNAGARU on the 17th of February 1981. In AMMA’S consecration, all other toe rings etched with divine forms are placed in the sanctum sanctorum on the 14th of June 1985.

Thus AMMA’S incarnation differs largely in terms of aspect, method, approach, containment and mode. HER unique ministry and mission being of boundless, limitless, bounteous motherly love and care for eternity which neither diction can convey, nor any media can express in its depth, intensity and true sense.

Persuasion for one and all is to beseech AMMA’S GRACE in all eamestness.
