We are happy to inform our readers that the International wing of AMMA’S Organization has taken birth at Cincinnati (Ohio State USA) on the auspicious Full Moon day of Vaisakha month (21st May 2016) under Jayaho Maatha Sree Anasuya Raja Rajeswari Sri Paratp the name and style JAIHO (Jillellamudi Amma International Humanitarian Organization).
Dr. Brahmandam Rangasai, noted Oncologist in Cincinnati, Sri Rahikiran Rajupalepu from Virginia (son of Rajupalepu Seshagiri Rao – popularly known as Vetapalem Seshu), Brahmandam Prem Chaitanya from New Jersey (son of our dear brother Ravi Annayya) are among the chief architects of this new Organization.
Incidentally, some of our brethren from India who happen to be on personal visit to the USA, Sri Ravi Annayya, Sri B. Ramabrahmam, Dr. T.S. Sastry, Sri Kamaraju, Smt. Chakka Lakshmi Devi, wife of Sri Chakka Srimannarayana, also had the privilege of attending the Inaugural meeting of JAIHO and receiving the hospitality of Dr. Rangasai couple.
The conclave started with AMMA Puja by Dr. Rangasai and his wife Smt. Jyotsna, Smt and Sri Brahmandam Jagannadha Rao garu, noted Radiologist from Illinois and elder brother of Dr. Rangasai.
Sri Ravi Kiran Rajupalepu made a PowerPoint Presentation on the structure, objectives of the new Organization, while Dr. Rangasai spoke on AMMA’s philosophy and his experiences with AMMA.
In the afternoon session, discussions were held on the formation of bye-laws of the Organization and the executive committee was elected unanimously. The Organization will be headed by Dr. Rangasai as President, Mr. Prem Chaitanya Bramhandam and Mr. Premakumar Tangirala as Vice Presidents, Mr. Rahikiran Rajupalepu as the Secretary, and Mr. Prem Charan Marakani (from Dallas) as the Treasurer.
The efforts of our brothers and sisters abroad who are keen on disseminating Amma’s Philosophy through service to Humanity is highly appreciable and in this context “Mother of All” extends warm Greetings and Best Wishes for the fastest growth of the Organization.
