The sudden and heartbreaking loss of three beloved individuals from Jillellamudi came as a rude shock to the brethren of Jillellamudi. All the three were most committed devotees of Amma and loved by All.
On June 7, 2023, Sri Bhattiprolu Ramachandra, a devoted follower of Amma and a dedicated servant of the institutions she established, passed away. His unparalleled commitment and unwavering conviction in Amma’s vision were deeply admired by all.
Sri Ramachandra, affectionately called as “Ramu” by every one served the Institutions of Amma in several capacities for a long time. He was the Correspondent of Matrusri Oriental College and High School and also served as Resident Secretary and Organizing Secretary of SVJP. His untimely demise has left the people of Jillellamudi in a state of disbelief and profound sorrow.
Sri Valluri Basavaraju, one of Amma’s oldest devotees, also departed on June 1, 2023. The entire Valluri family was known for their unwavering dedication to Amma. Sri Basavaraju, a man of strong conviction and outspoken nature, was deeply committed to his spiritual path and held a special place in the hearts of many.
The passing of Smt. Vithala Sesharatnam, the beloved wife of Sanskrit Scholar Sri Vithala Ramachandra Murthy, on July 4, 2023, further added to the grief felt by the Jillellamudi community. Smt. Sesharatnam, highly respected in Jillellamudi, received immense love and affection from Amma herself. Her devotion and commitment to Amma were unwavering, as she cherished the profound words spoken by Amma, “I am your mother and you are my Hyma!” This sweet bond between – Amma and Smt. Sesharatnam remains an enduring memory for all.
In the wake of these tragic losses, “Mother of All” extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved families. May Amma bestow upon them the strength and solace they need to endure this irreparable loss. The love and memories shared with these dear departed souls will forever be cherished within the hearts of the Jillellamudi community.
