Oh! Mother, THOU art the thought,
Also the thoughtless stillness,
Verily the confluence of both states,
Would I seek THY singular source?
Of the thought and non-thought
Looking for the primal impact
Caused by THEE of thought and the
Stillness without thought;
Do I sing the glory of such a singular state?
AMMA, shall I witness this universe as but
THY very form that is completely manifest?
Should I listen to the soul’s symphony as THY meter?
Pray, bless us as the ‘MOTHER OF ALL’
Grace us as the ‘Mother’ beyond the realms of our reach.
Shall I fuse in the soul’s bliss?
Granted by THEE, becoming a
Tiny speck or to be solidified ever
In the cosmic eternity that is ageless.
AMMA! THOU art but the essence and
Even the fusion of all the disciplines of learning,
THOU art the culmination of the
Wisdom’s free flow of melodious glory,
Echoing in the sonorous tunes of stringed music,
That sound for timeless ages, And ring in this boundless universe;
To be set for ever in THY tunes
Of eternal glory, for my tiny self
To savor these singular thoughts,
As also the thoughtless depths of
Still silence and echo there as the
Sweet lyric for all times ever seeking
Thee and echoing the endless glory
Of yours, and seek THY everlasting grace.
In this world, thoughts are ever fleeting in the human mind. The thought is evident to the person only when it flashes in the mind. Till this point, no one ever knows where it was and how it took its origin. Even so, one thought after the other rushed through the mind without a pause. Such is the given condition. Yet knows not from where the thought emanates and how it ends. Such is the choice less state of this being in the world.
In some rare moments of serenity, one understands there is a zone without thought and its related turbulence. In such a situation the mind is calm without any agitation, a status of complete stillness. In more ordinary moments this can be observed as the pause or gap in between the chain of thoughts.
After a little more incisive thinking, the person also observes both the thought and the non thought emanate from one end in the very same source that is beyond ordinary reach or understanding. And both thought and non thought fuse or mingle at that point or source.
The aspirant after deep search understands that such a source is divine and verily both are caused by AMMA. The subject though tossing between these two stages longs for the state of such stillness, which is the culmination of all the being.
The person can do little but bow and pray to AMMA to grant such realization or perception and reach such a primal source of all this turbulent thought to remain calm and still savoring the godly glory.
Granting such a state, the person appreciates the entire visible universe as the complete manifestation of AMMA in HER mega, macro, limitless cosmic form.
From here he could access the soul or the eternal self and listen to the music or the very muse of the soul, the eternal self within the being, rarely known ever by the lesser mortal.
Here, at this point of revelation, understands the soul’s music and the symphony of this universe is nothing but AMMA’s meter in which all the music comprising the thought and non thought, as also creative stillness are all cast together. All these fuse and culminate in AMMA to echo, ring and merge into the primal silence. This very source or the genesis of the soul also becomes its melody and its bliss.
The subject understands that it is not merely so. Such beginning is also the end point or fusion of all the knowledge in its varied aspects that are heard in this world. Just as the waves that emanate from the ocean lash and merge in the very same ocean incessantly.
Also this is but the culmination of the sweet melody of wisdom that stirs and stimulates this world and all its activity.
Such melody rings forever in this world as the sweet sounds of stringed music.
Such tunes forever ring in this boundless universe as the song of AMMA’S eternal glory. Reason being AMMA is the very or the one and only source of thought, non thought, the deep absolute stillness or calm from where all the disciplines, sciences, shastras, all the wisdom and erudition emanate in an endless continuum. AMMA is the very same fathomless, boundless ocean which causes the waves and absorbs the waves without a pause.
Such glory of AMMA to reiterate is endless, timeless, ageless and eternal auguring well for all mankind, all the living and the entire being in this creation.
The humble little self, this tiny subject, earnestly prays, to dwell in the everlasting glory of AMMA. The self also longs for his presentation to be sweet, melodious lyric and freeze there in the domains of thought, non thought and also absolute stillness to echo at opportune moments.
